Les jardins d' Eva in  Hell- Bourg 

We eat lunch on April 11 in Les jardin d'Eva, a very pretty Creole hut, with a magnificent view of the Cirque of Salazie 


We were able to have an aperitif with a punch, with donuts of chouchou (typical vegetable)


For dessert we had a potato cake with pineapple.

Restaurent " le vieux bardeau "  


We eat at this restaurant on April 12 in Tampon it is a very pleasant restaurant.

Restaurent " l’ auberge grimaud " in St Philippe 


We eat at this restaurant on April 13, just before the Spice Garden in St Philippe. This restaurant is in the middle of the vegetation.

 Restaurent  " la table d’hôte de la ferme ICHABE " in St Gilles les hauts.


We went to this restaurant on April 15, this restaurant was all outdoors, with a beautiful setting, a good aperitif with guava juice and chouchou donuts…


And the big plus, for dessert, fresh and delicious passion fruit.


But also a very good atmosphere, singing from the hosts, but also tests from the boys in our class.














Restaurant " Les Letchis " in St Benoît 


On April 16 we eat in a restaurant not far from the rafting base, a restaurant in the middle of the vegetation, roof open to the outside.

Restaurant " Chez Lucay " in Cilaos 

Here is the restaurant we visited the day we were in the Cirque de Cilaos on April 17th.

A very good meal, with a very nice view of the circus. With another very good aperitif.


Restaurant " La plage"  in St Gilles  

Here is the last restaurant we visited on April 18, with an incredible view of the turquoise blue sea.

On this page, you discover all the visits that we have made throughout the trip, in different cities throughout the Island. Visit of the Roulof vanilla plantation in St André: The first vanilla plantation we visited was on the morning of April 11. We were welcomed by Madame Roulof, who explained the whole process to us to have vanilla, the first part outside under the greenhouses, where the vanilla plants grow. But also all the explanations of the second part inside, with all the steps to go from the vanilla which has just been harvested so yellow to the brown color ready for consumption. At the end of the visit we were able to buy vanilla, in pod, liquid, powder…  The visit lasts approximately 1h30. Presentation of the trip

Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Noémie   On this blog you will be able to discover the class trip to the Réunion des Terminales Bac Pro Boulangerie-Pastry and Terminales Service et Cuisine. This trip started on April 9, 2022 and ended on April 19, 2022, but we had been preparing for it for 3 years and ended it with several actions, such as sales of macaroons created by ourselves in high school, but also Easter 2021 sale meal boxes, a meal for the wine fair a few days before the trip. This trip was made up of 42 students We left Lyon Saint Exupéry airport at 2:30 p.m., to arrive in Paris at 1 a.m., to leave very quickly on our flight for the meeting to arrive at 5 a.m. in St Paul (Roland Garros airport) For the departure we left at 6am from the hotel to take off at 10.30am to arrive in Lyon at midnight.   I remember from this trip that Reunion Island is really a continent that I have a lot. A much freer container not in relation to the metropolis and many other count...
