On this page you will be able to see differents activities we were able to do during the trip. 


The first activities we did were on April 14 at the water hole beach. Group share of 12 people we toured between 45 minutes of snorkelling, 45 minutes of paddle and 45 minutes of kayaking.

My group started snorkelling, the seascape was really beautiful, diving into another world. We could see a lot of fish as blue - green lady but also the stone fish (which is very dangerous), but also the yellow chest fish (which swells when it feels attacked)

Then we went on with the kayak, which was also very good but one can less appreciate everyone

Then we finished part paddle which was also very good and very appreciated by everyone, or we had the chance to see skates. 




For snorkelling the price was 5€ for 1 hour.

For the kayak the price was 25€ for 1 hour.

For the paddle the price was 12€  for 1 hour.

The second big activity we did was rafting and airboating, in St Benoit


For this activity the classes were divided into 2 groups, one to go rafting in the morning and the other to visit St Denis then we change for the afternoon.

  Our group started in the morning, arrived in the rain, change of outfit with combies, helmets, paget.

And then off we go for a short walk to get to the starting point.

Arriving at the top we had all the instructions, and off we went we embarked on a descent of 1h30.

With several small rapids, a place where we could jump from different heights...

Arrival at the bottom of the descent which wanted us to redo the last rapid just on the back.

After we landed on the shore, put away the rafts, and changed to be able to find the second group at the restaurant which was a few meters away.

On this page, you discover all the visits that we have made throughout the trip, in different cities throughout the Island. Visit of the Roulof vanilla plantation in St André: The first vanilla plantation we visited was on the morning of April 11. We were welcomed by Madame Roulof, who explained the whole process to us to have vanilla, the first part outside under the greenhouses, where the vanilla plants grow. But also all the explanations of the second part inside, with all the steps to go from the vanilla which has just been harvested so yellow to the brown color ready for consumption. At the end of the visit we were able to buy vanilla, in pod, liquid, powder…  The visit lasts approximately 1h30. Presentation of the trip

Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Noémie   On this blog you will be able to discover the class trip to the Réunion des Terminales Bac Pro Boulangerie-Pastry and Terminales Service et Cuisine. This trip started on April 9, 2022 and ended on April 19, 2022, but we had been preparing for it for 3 years and ended it with several actions, such as sales of macaroons created by ourselves in high school, but also Easter 2021 sale meal boxes, a meal for the wine fair a few days before the trip. This trip was made up of 42 students We left Lyon Saint Exupéry airport at 2:30 p.m., to arrive in Paris at 1 a.m., to leave very quickly on our flight for the meeting to arrive at 5 a.m. in St Paul (Roland Garros airport) For the departure we left at 6am from the hotel to take off at 10.30am to arrive in Lyon at midnight.   I remember from this trip that Reunion Island is really a continent that I have a lot.
